Mancala is strategy and community
based on counting, strategy, and resource distribution. The word "Mancala" comes from the Arabic word naqala, meaning “to move.”
For thousands of years, Mancala has been played in villages, homes, marketplaces, and royal courts across many cultures. Common variants include: Oware, Bao, Congkak, Sungka. Kalah, Omweso
While the rules vary by region, all Mancala games share the same fundamental idea: strategic movement of seeds or stones across pits on a board.
These games are celebrated for their simplicity, depth of strategy, and ability to bring people together across generations.
